Telangana Buzz is a community portal for Telangana. We publish a mix of user-submitted posts (the discussion board, classifieds, real-estate listings, events) and curated editorial content (city guides, weather, deals). These standards apply to both — the bar shifts with the format, but the principles are constant.
Editorial content (city guides, lists, restaurant pieces) is fact-checked at publish time against widely-verifiable sources. We do not fabricate specific addresses, prices, phone numbers, or business details. Where we cite, we link out. Where we draw on personal experience, we say so.
User-submitted content is moderated, not edited. We display the author handle alongside every post so readers can weigh attribution themselves.
Where the portal aggregates third-party content (RSS items, press releases, partner deals), each item links to the original source with the publisher's name displayed prominently. We do not republish article bodies; only headlines, short blurbs (≤500 chars) and outbound links.
Photographs uploaded by users are warranted by the uploader to be either their own work or licensed for the use. Reports of infringement are handled via the corrections process below and can result in immediate removal.
Editorial guides do not accept paid placement. If a guide ever becomes sponsored, it will carry a prominent "Sponsored" label and the editorial team will not be involved. Classifieds, deals, and real-estate listings are inherently commercial and carry the standard disclaimers that the buyer should verify claims independently.
Posts that violate the community guidelines are removed. Repeated violations result in account suspension. We do not moderate based on political viewpoint; we do remove content that is harassing, illegal, deceptive, or designed to impersonate. Decisions are appealable through the contact form.

Telangana Buzz aims to surface voices from across telangana — different neighbourhoods, language backgrounds, income levels, and political perspectives. We actively look for gaps in coverage and encourage submissions from underrepresented contributors.
Telangana Buzz is independently operated. No political party, government body, or major commercial interest holds an ownership stake or directs editorial content.
